Tach flutters at idle?

does your guys tach flutter at idle when its warm? mine jumps from about 1200 to 1600.

Just the needle jumping around or is the bike surging? If it's just the tach then you might want to check the battery -- the electronic stuff gets goofy when the battery runs low.
