Default Steering Dampeners and Wobbles

I bought a 01' 929 erion about a month ago and when i pin it in 1st and 2nd gear on uneven pavement or when changing lanes it starts wobbeling not bad enough to make me chop the throttle but i still dont like it. I was wonderin if anybody knows what causes this and what steering dampener everyone is having the best luck with????

hey .. there was a recent thread on dampeners that you may want to check out. scotts seem to be the most popuar, though it seems that any dampener will be good (i am looking at getting an arrow dampener).

the "why" is the short wheel base, steep steering angle and lot of power :-) it is the nature of the 929 to wobble on hard acceleration around bumps, or when the front-end gets light. note that honda went to a dampener on the cbr1000rr.

hope this helps.

I have the Hyperpro RSC, I love it and its very easy to set on the fly.
It is one of the few models that adjust to speed on its own.
before the "damper" i would notice the slight head shake under hard
accelerating especially coming out of a mid-full lean turn.
