Default stator installation

Well finally replace my stator and figured I would do a write up on it so here we go, I hope you enjoy.

1. drain all oil out of your bike and put it on front and rear stands if you have them.

2. take your rider seat off and unscrew your gas tank

3. take your battery out then unscrew silver tank bracket directly under rear gas tank screw.

4. Remove silver tank bracket and now remove black cover that is also under tank bracket

5. unhook both your stator wire and your rectifier brackets wires

6. take off left side plastics and draw out your stator wire to the side of the bike next to stato cover.
7. unscrew all stator bolt

8. be careful when removing you stator cover. I used a rubber mallot to free my cover from the engine block. as you can see my stator was fried.

9. remove the all five screws from your stator cover, and take old stator out

10. clean all the old gasket off your stator cover. I used soap and water and a good old fashion touch of sand paper. by the way this part sucks. but make sure you get all the gasket off the cover and your engine block.

11. put your new stator in the stator cover the exact same way that you removed the old one. p.s. remove the white string from your stator. dont want that in there.

12. screw all five screws back into the cover
