my speedometer reads about 8 mph high at highway speeds. i know there are digital boxes that fix this but i cant see spending $80 to fix something that should have came factory right? is there any other way to fix this? if not then anybody have a plug-n-play one that i can ride out and borrow to fix mine? im always looking for a ride and to meet new riders. if not then whats the best one to buy? preferably a plug in and play one so i dont have to cut wires but i will if i have to.

Are you running stock gearing? The 929 should be reading about 4.5% optimistic. You can't really borrow one to fix it, once the box is removed it'll revert to stock. I've used the speedohealer on both of my bikes, works great. It is plug and play if you get the honda harness, very simple install. Should only need to remove your seat, depending on where you place it.

You can get the speedo healer here:

The bike in the "how to" is my 929.
Stock gearing is 16/43
