They will work. I only used Denso's for a while but they are $$$$$$$. So i used the CR9EHIX-9. (6216) There wouldn't be a driveability problem, still produce a spark. Maybe a slight performance difference but not an issue. i have done the plugs 3 times on my 929. Hate it, but worth it ($40 max for DIY...stealership like $250-300)

I have only dropped the radiator and gone that way. never gone from the top (removing tank)

thanks trey . i just cut my yana shiki pipe looks awesome and sounds great seems to pull harder up top . i hear all this talk people saying long term on the motor its going to burn vavle lean out ect . i really find that hard to bleve just do to the fact that these bikes have the htev that creates back pressure and the exhaust is soo long . honestly i dont feel like the bike has lost any bottom end at all . the ecu has addaptive fuel stratigies im thinking to an extent . whats your opinion on this ?

I am down for anything.. kidding.. really I don't have any advice for that. The way I see it is this...... 10 year old bike, what's the worst that could happen???? From my rough understanding the valve thing doesn't really matter nowadays.(no expertise on that). Do what YOU want to do to your bike. HTEV and all that back pressure is for others... someone will chime in... but get them plugs in and have fun... I know i didn't...

well i cut my aftermarket yana shiki bolt on exhaust slincer and iv been reading and theres some speculation about burning the vavles because theres nooo back pressure ect and you need a power comander to correct the fuel trims lol . my bike seems to run great pulls harder up top dident loose any bottom . the reason why i cut it is i wanted it a little louder and looks more compact on the bike . my bike is very very clean and kept it looking very stealthy noo decals or any squid crap lol my fav aircraft is the stealth and sr71 black bird

the iridium plugs are designed to last longer. regular plugs will work, but you will need to change them more often. being that they are a pain in the butt to do, i'm spending the extra $20 to not need to do the so often.
