hey guys, new to this forum. Have a question, Got a 929rr and i notices that when it is warming up the rpms will bog down and i can hear a tink sound. will do it every 5-7 seconds. but sometimes it is quicker or longer just depends. Read alot about it being the CCT. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

The tinking sound is normal. Both of mine have done it. I believe it to be the metal in the exhaust expanding as it heats up.

As far as the bogging, a cold motor can bog a little until it reaches temp. If it's more than a little, you have something wrong.
