Replacing the headlight
Hey guy's my low beam bulb is burnt out.. need to replace it.. got one from the dealer for 5 bucks.. Now its just a matter of putting it in, the bike didn't come with a manual so i dont know about tearing it apart to replace the bulb.... advice would be appericiated.. Second question.. can you get the manual online?.. And as far as regular maintence.. what generally needs to be done?.. the bike has 9,400 miles on it.. 150 of which were put on by me in the last 36 hours. Oil changes etc? and are they something i can actually do myself or best to let a shop do em? Thanks in advance.
if you have emule++ the file sharing program you can download the manual. other then that i've only seen the fireblade parts manual. if anyone has a website with an extra 55mb of space i could upload it.

I do have a question, so i got that page about the physical replacement, but how about the disassembly of the front fairings and what else i might need to take apart to get to that point... I just want to make sure i know what to take apart to get to the socket itself.
I just changed all 3 bulbs this past weekend to plasma white bulbs on my 2001 929. You shouldn't have to do any disassembly of any kind to get to it. They are easily accessed just in front of your forks. Let us know how it turns out.
i just put my stock middle bulb back in.. bought "wizard ultrawhite xenon bulbs" they last about 30 minutes.. anyway i droped the clip inside the headlight case.. had to construct a hook out of a coat hanger..
