Remote start on the 929 FI system not working help
Hello name is Nathan I got a remote start off the inter web (eBay) and I'm having problems. So to those who have successfully installed a remote start on the bike your help would be apreceated! I have got power ground lights start button all hooked up. It will turn over but the FI system will not prime. So I'm asuming I'm not getting any fuel. If I use the key to prime it then use the remote start it works. So my main problem which I'm asuming others have had problems with it the pink wire! I read a thread in here talking about what to do but he didn't finish talking about what to do. Can anyone help!!!!

I didn't even know there was a remote start for a motorcycle. Why would anyone need it?
I know on my car that has a remote start I can defrost the windows in the winter and get the interior somewhat warm before I get in it to drive to work on a cold, freezing morning. In the summer I can cool it down a tad with the A/C before hopping inside. Neither of those things apply for a motorcycle.
On my motorcycle I start the engine and then finish zipping up my jacket and put my helmet and gloves on. Within that minute the oil has warmed enough that I hop on the bike and take off.
I guess you'd have to remember to leave it parked in neutral or there would be a problem when you start it.

yeah its more just to inpress people or for me i have a long walk on campus to get to my bike so when i get out of class i start it and by the time i get there all i do is put on my helmet and go. and if you have the safety feters like most fuel injected bikes do you bike will not start in gear so i dont have to worry about that but another added benefit to it is it has a alarm system in in too.
