Default REAR STAND

I'm sure this has been posted many times but I couldn't find anything. I was curious what rear stands people are using since the 929 doesn't have a spools and the swing arm has different heights from side to side. Pic would be mcuh appreciated.

I made one out of black pipe using all stock sizes from Home Depot and a couple of shopping cart wheels (the rear ones, of course, not the casters!!). I have all the pipe cutting and threading equipment, but lo and behold I didn't need any of it. I'll post some pics when I can. It ain't pretty, though.
I know there are good universal ones out there on the market for a little over a hundred bucks. That'd probably be the easiest way to go unless you're as cheap as me.....

I got my rear stand from Pit bull yes a little more spendy but the best one you will ever get. I spent 160 or so.
and it comes with a spacer to exstend the right side up to level out the bike.
check it out. WWW.pit-bull.com

No one else uses a rearstand. So my option is to either make one or buy a pit bull. Come on guys what stands are everyone else using.

The more I think about it the more I like the idea of installing spools on the swing arm to accomodate a stand. Seems like that would be a lot more secure than the kind like I built that just cradles the arm.

I just use a couple of tie down straps and suspend the rear in the air by the rafters of my barn

Actually, stuntin, I really do raise the front end from an "A" frame I built in the barn. Strap goes under the front of the main frame on the bike and up to a hoist, and up she goes. The rear I pick up with the rear stand I made. Made a wheel balancer too.

I'd be proud of all this, except all it says about me is I got too much time on my hands and I'm freaking CHEAP. LOL.
