Default Rear seat compartment access

I just purschased my first bike, a 2000 929. The previous owner added a wolf racing underseat exhaust. The bike is really nice and he took good care of it.I know I'm new but I'm having a devil of a time finding the release for the rear seat compartment. Can someone enlighten me please I don't see a place for a key.

I don't know if you have the stock tail, but mines got a hole underneath its about a half inch in diameter just big enough to fit your finger in, It's about ten inches from the tail light theres a lever inside that you push to the right and it pops right open. No key needed

Sorry,
Was not the camera but the camera man. I resized the pictures because they were too large. Now too small. Got the answer I needed earlier.
Thanks
