Default Storage Compartment?

I have a 93 600 f2, and needless to say, when I lifted up the seat I was surprised to be looking straight down at the rear wheel. All I have is that little 4X7 box thing. Is there anything that I could buy to have a larger storage compartment? Its not the biggest deal to me but I would like to know if I could buy an extension or something for it.

Lol yOu could fabricate one. for example I bought my bike already molested wait let's say severly raped and beaten to death, the guy did the turn signal mod and integrated them into the taillight removing the horrible looking plastic piece and welding a crappy looking metal plate for no real reason. However it could easily be done to mod in a small little metal box where the plate is by either welding it to the existing brackets or being lazy and using the Orr existing jolt holes from the seat and use longer bolts and a nut

Well i like the little box that's there, i just wish the rest of the space was a box too. Are there any kits that are basically a drop in box that bolts in right there?

The stock is a compartment integrated with the battery box and the compartment
integrated with the tail-assembly. I'm not aware of any after-market add-ons.
This is an area, you'll have to do-it-yourself, most likely.

I can see a couple of pieces of strapping, pop-rivets and a properly sized
Pelican case. Goggle Pelican, they do some really awesome sealed container/boxes.

Thanks for the help. If i could find another trunk kit that would almost fit i could always just try to cut it down a little to make it fit properly.
The storage wasn't a huge deal to me but i would like some because it would come in handy.

Mine is the same way. It is big enough for the user manual and maybe something else small. I have a first aid kit that fits perfectly and also holds down small stuff when placed under the kit. If you have keys or something, just get a foam block cut to size and use the foam to keep the stuff in place.

I use a collapsible seat bag, folds away when not using.

That storage compartment is pointless isn't it? How are you suppose to access it when your on a ride? The seats bolted down and the wrench would be in the tool kit under the seat.
