Rear 180/55/17
i just put a 180/55 Pirelli Dragon Super Corsa Pro SC2 on my 929.. i love the tires. they stick to the ground like superclue.
just got them installed yesterday, and im on the edges of the tires after 8 miles of hill riding. im able to go 20mph faster the corners with these tires..the down side is 180 cuts in corner way to quick.
if you guys just do hill riding.. Pirelli Dragon Super Corsa Pro SC2 are the best tires if you guys just do hill riding. highly recommended!!!

to me Yes... i usually take the one big 20mph U-turn at 40-50mph with no problem.with the 180 it pulled me into the yellow double line as i entered the turn. i couldnt go any faster when im too close to the yellow line..with the 190 i could go in the corner a lot smoother.
180 is a big difference (handling)..i feel like 2 different bikes. maybe i just have to get used to how it reacts in corners.

This might sound dumb, but cut me a little slack for being new, when you say it cuts in the corner quicker, I assume you mean the bike is turning quicker for the same degree of lean, and what kind of hill riding, I have a lot of mountain roads here. Not so much rolling hills, but long ups and downs with lots of hairpins and tight corners. I haven't ventured up there yet, but might give it a shot this weekend if nice.

I run Super Corsa Pro's often on the track and they've been a great tire, some excessive tearingonabrasive tracks but not something you'll have a problemwith on the street.
In my opinion you can approach it two ways if you plan to stay with the 180's. I'm guessing your reflexes are probably programmed for a 190 tire so now your usual counter steering input is flicking you in too tight due to the bike being more responsive. Option #1is to just practice more with the new setup andyou'll get the feel for how much steering input is now right to hold your line. Option #2 is if you still find the biketurning in too steeplyfor your tastes you could drop the forks a bit in the triple clamp and increase the rake & trail.
