LOL, it's a work in progress. I'm attempting to perfect the details every time I look at her.

 

you would probably hate the bike over all. runs hot all day on your knees (side radiators), extremely hard ride position, hard seat, parts are very expensive, over heats a lot, in the end you probably wont be to happy. most rc51's are way over priced. i had two of them hated them but liked them. hated them more though. cbr is a better bike anyway

Yeah. I miss the inline 4 action at times . The RC is extremely different . Being different is Kool !! Half the people that sees it don't know what kind of bike it is . Parts are Cheeper then 929 or 54 parts because they made the 51. For 6 years . Rear seat cowl for 29 oem is hundreds $$. I got paint to match rear seat delete 40 $.

 

Did you notice the weight difference? Looking at the specs, the '51 is substantially heavier, right? Feel it? Curious, as I am looking for something different from my F4i, and those are on my short list.

 

Yeah the 51 is a totaly different ride . I only keep 2galons of fuel in her lol that way it only feels like a tow truck going threw traffic not a Mac truck lol. Dare to be different get the 51 . It's sounds awesome and handles well ! Gearing is tall too 95mph at 5400 rpms . The hot set up is 15 41 gearing. Also if you get one get sp2 02 and up sp1 had problems with fuel injection and only has one cooling fan . Tune ability also is better with sp2. Let me know I'll help ya out if ya get one . I did everything to mine from valve ajustment to engine ice and other stuff.

 

Also. Get ready to spend at least 4 k remember you get what you pay for . You can get one with all the bells and whistles for 5 k. Go on flakes list
