A friend of mine has one wired into his bike but most the the time when it goes off he knows damn well he's speeding and so do they so it doesn't give him much time to react anyways. Waste of time and money in my opinon and probably another source of fustration in your life that not needed.

^That's what I was going to say. besides your going to get nailed most of the time by the ones that are behind you you never saw. That's happened to me a few times butluckely I wasn't doing anything that would have given him a reason to pull me over.[sm=devilangel.gif]

not true,i have a belltronics rx65 and it has saved me from traps plenty off times.it picks the cops off before i even can see them..it espically works good in the twisties on all those blind corners...go to radarbusters.com and ck it out..if u get a quality unit and mount it properly it will pay for its self in one day off riding..

Good god man do you just haul *** all over town with intentions of putting people lives at stake so you can get someone quick? How about slowing down an leaving the house 5-10 minutes earlier.

good god man most of us are not riding our CROTCH ROCKETS to follow our grandmas to the doctors putt around town nor to put anybodys life in danger thats a little dramatic.any one that can say they never speed in there car, let alone on their motorcycle is full of crap.so when im carven these awsome canyons we have out here cali at triple the posted speed limit yes i want every advantage over the cops i can have to avoid those very costly speeding tickets..

completly agree with 1fast929. once you get more comfortable with your bike you will speed as well and stop using that lame excuse for going slow. I also have the bel rx65 and i have picked up cops from 3 miles away. and the ones that use the instant on 9 out of 10 times i see them and have time to slow down before they hit me with the radar. plus if you hit a car doing 100mph on your bike you'll dieand the people in the car will be fine.

i agree I'll speed from time to time but not enough to need a radar detector but 95% of the time while i'm in the city I just go with the flow of traffic. As for hitting a car at 100mph, yes the rider will more than likely die as well as the occupants of the car because you are more likely to t-bone them in an intersection. Their door is no match for your 400lb bike entering their car at 100mph +.
