Oh, totally, i'm not done yet, i just did a few pieces today, going to finish it off next week, matter of time and prep, i think i'll do as much as i can next week, going to strip the fairings off, there are a few rattles, and noises i want to check out anyways.. what a wonderful excuse to powdercoat

Prep.. really depends on the item, i'm new to this, but if it's clean metal like the heel gaurds you just wanna go over them with a rag and some cleaner, hot water, just to make sure you get the grime and dirt off, now an item the stator covers which i'm going to do, you'll need to get them sand blasted so that they're clean or the powder wont stick.. Cost, it depends on wether you do itself, my buddy has all the equipment to do it, i know the powder is dirt cheap i know a big container of it is only like 20 bucks, which is enough to do all the parts on the bike and alot more. As far as a professional shop, i've never been to one i can imagine they'd be kinda spendy but there's no harm in asking. I'll post more pics when i powdercoat the remaining parts.
I don't know where he got it, i'm going to call him tomorrow, i'll PM ya when i find out, as far as sand blasting the stator cover, let me know how that goes, a local guy was telling me that might be a little harsh against the metal key word in there was "might".. never know till ya try i suppose..
cool thanks man.. as far as it being harsh i can switch to a soft plastic beed and not use as much air pressure. I wont even try it tell this winter though.. now that its 70+ outside i dont want to take a chance of loosing any ridding time.
