I have Joe Rocket textile for when it's cold or raining or both as it's water proof and Teknic Leather for spirited back roads/track days.

Have not had the pleasure of testing their abrasion resitance but think both will be fine. In hind sight, other than getting the leather pants with sliders for $90 on close out at New Enough.........I would have ponied up the $ for some better ones as they do not have the stretch panel in the crotch. Other wise they are nice pants.

Check out www.newenough.com
Good deals on apparel.

I know I like rolling in my Army sur-plus camo pants. There pretty thick, adjustible in the waist and around the boots, and pockets that button close. For every day riding I like them and you can support the troops!

A local shop here in cincy. I didn't want a big bulky boot that would be hard to get between the shifter and peg. I like them a lot.

For boots I have to vote for Sidi. Yup, they really are worth that much.
