alright well im going on vaca and im getting my rims painted. i was thinkin neon green or gold/bronze like the same color as the rotor/caliper. i have the 2001 red white black one. what are your opinions on these colors. and if anyone can find me the paint code for the color caliper i'd thank you alot lol

 

I don't know if I would go with any of those colors... I would honestly go with either a red or black bowder coating. That would give it a nice blended look, and wouldn't go overboard. Just my opinion...

 

have not thought of the gold color of the rotors. I thought that red would be nice to have the wheels painted. What ever you decide let me know and send or post pics of the finished product. I have the same as you on the paint scheme and would like to see what it would look like. Really considering the polished look for mine.

 

yeah i was thinkin of doing white spokes, polished lip, and a white outside line like on the raven. i think the gold might look decent on it b/c the rotors it wont look like oMFG what'd you do. if i polish the lip i'll show you a pic of that too cuz my buddy does polishing so that it looks like chrome. anyone have any other colors they think would look good

 

i saw the red wheels on a 954 around here and it just looked a lil too plain. the neon green was just going to be like to offset it and be like woahh when i pass bye ppl. but i think im going to go with the rotor color on it, that gold

 

I have chrome rims and they make the bike look good, but I hate them. If shiny is your thing, go with polishing or chrome. In the next 2 years, I'm gonna get them powder coated black or a translucent color if I get the rest painted.

Chrome, a little honda spray polish and your good to go.

 

I have the same color bike red/black and white on the tail. My wheels a factor Red and I will say that it looks great. I have seen them with crome, black, yellow but I like the red the best. good luck.

 

I've been trying to think of something to do to my dark stock rims to dress the bike up a little - I love my stock '01 yellow and black, but I admit it never sent me over the moon with it's looks - seems like it's missing something. I always liked the Repsol with the orange rims, or the blue and white GSXR's with the white rims, but I'm at a loss to dream up something like that for mine. I like aeroworks's yellow rims (his bike is the same as mine otherwise), but it's probably too over the top for an old man like me. Wish I had more imagination for stuff like this....[:@]
