So, i have that fairing along the bottom of the bike.. mainly black with that strip of red.. so i've decided to paint it.. now the question is.. is there a particular paint code for the black?.. I've seen custom rattlecans for cars that have the clear mixed in looks really really good so i was thinking with a little bondo and paint she'll look as good as new .. Anyways lemme know..

 

code 99 is a generic and pretty standard colour for black , pretty much any solid black spray can will do the job as there all made to this code . just remember after bondo to put down a few light coats of primer and sand quickly between coats . if your gonna spray with a spray can look for a can that is acrylic enamel versus laquer acrylic enamel will look good and shiney and be way more durable . good luck
