Question Opening up headlight.......

So i bought some LED strips to install in the headlight with double sided 3m tape, I have the headlight out. How the heck do you get the headlight cover off? I read some place to throw it in the oven to loosen up the glue but i don't feel any on the inside and perfer it if i did not have to.

Any ideas on how to open up the housing?

If anyone is wondering, i'm putting in 2 9 1/2in amber LED strips and tying them to my blinkers. with my rear and side blinkers still in tack, maybe taking out the side blinkers totally. Any thought if i should or not? The rear blinkers will be converged with my undertail in the same housing.

I would put white ones in there an make them running lights/signals
Ya you have to bake your headlights to get the glue to melt so you can pry it open, I have seen people use a hairdryer in a box.
ut either way you have to melt the glue.

I would not beable to use them during the day time, won't be seen. I was thinking about getting a multi color strip to put on top for the running light pending on how this turned out.
