Default Oil Light on 929

So here's my question.

If you turn your ignition to ON and give the bike a few seconds for the fuel pump to finish its cycle and the oil light to turn off, than wait another 5 seconds without turning the bike on does the red oil light came back on? I've had my bike for over 5 years and sad to say i never paid attention until recently. Probably because as soon as the lights disappear the first time i would just turn the bike on. Recently i let the ignition on without starting the bike up and the red oil light lights back up after a few seconds of turning off. Once i start the bike it stays off....

Hope it makes sense and thanks in advance.

man this is like a ghost town. lol

basically would someone with a 929rr be kind enough to turn their key to ON, wait for the red oil light to turn off and see if after a few seconds it turns back on? all without turning on the engine?

thanks.

That is normal, the bike isnt running so there is no oil pressure. That is why the light comes back on.....
