Newbie question
Which "pipe" are you referring to?
Fuel pump has a pressure line that goes to the side of the rail and a return hose that goes to the pressure regulator on the rail. The big metal fitting on the tank is the drain from the cap area. It goes to a big hose that run out the bottom of the bike by the swing arm pivot. The little fitting on the tank is the tank vent. It will either vent to atmosphere or run through an evap can and vent valve if you have a California emissions bike. There should be a vacuum diagram on the top of the air box that shows the evap stuff if you have it.
