As I'm sure is very common, I took off my exhaust headers and most of thenuts stayed stuck and the threaded rod came out of the engine. I'm wondering what the proper method of seperating thenuts from the threaded rods: what solvent to use, heat or no heat, use two nuts to lock the thread then try to remove the stuck nut... any advice would be appreciated.

 

You can buy new studs cheap at a hardware store.
