New Problem please give me some input

Default New Problem please give me some input

Ok guys, I have a 929rr, seems to be running rich kinda fluttery sounds and a little sooty when rev at idle, New fuel pressure regulator installed, have pc3 installed.... here is the deal initally when I got the bike it was running fat but streetable an still is....I found somwhere down the line someone hooked up the exhaust valve cables up backwards, after going through the service manual I corrected the cable routing and the servo and exhaust valve are indexed and working properly ... the bike seems to run strong and have good pull before toataly warmed up, once warmed up still will pull but gets rich sounding (fluttery) and that sharp crisp power goes away, but at a take off from a stop it seems normal just goes away as I seem to go through the gears, when this fluttery sound happens I notice if I back off the throttle a little it clears up it seems but if I gun the engine it get that rich feeling...I dropped quite a few maps on it today, have ran a can of seafoam through it now on straight premium 93 octane seems like somthing is getting warm and giving up the ghost????it never misses or cuts out it idles back and forth in RMP just so slightly not out of the norm for this bilke ....starts right up always, never stalls please help..I don't think its the plugs because they are such a pain to get to please I need input guys I'm pulling my hair out

the only code I ever had was a 19 but don't know how old it was. it cleared and I have no codes

I had a pc on my zx12 and it crapped out on me and I haven't trusted them since, that said. Have you used the zero or stock map on the pc to see how it runs then? I run mine stock except k&n filter and Jardine slip on. Pulls smooth all the way to redline, idles weird like you mentioned above but I think that's normal. Also are you using iridium plugs? I went cheap once and put in platinums and did notice a slight difference but mostly just off idle. Did you notice any difference before and after the seafoam? Have you sync'd your throttle bodies ever? Lastly I don't know if 93 octane is necessary for that bike. I seem to remember something about high or low compression and it takes more to burn the higher octane than the lower hence the pinging or pre detonation with lower than recommended octane fuels. Try also removing the pc completely to see if it clears up since it just plugs inline with your harness anyway. Someone else may have better info on the octane thing.
