Hey everyone. As of yesterday i just purchased a 2001 929rr with 7,611 miles for 4570.00 at a dealership. That also came with a helmet and riding gloves. As far as i can see the bike is stock with just a Jardine exhaust. Its a really clean bike. I live in Metro detroit Michigan. So far ive owned a katana, a ninja and a F3cbr. Im leaving for the Army in a few months and figured it would be nice to have a bike ive wanted forever. So i rode it home in the 30 degree weather and all I can say is WOW. Huge difference from the normal 600s i ride. Ill post pics as soon as possible. Hope to talk and help out as much as possible.

Well thank you. Mine is the red and black scheme. I love it. I had a choice between a 900rr that was yellow and black and mine. The 900 had a bunch of engine work (racing cams and stuff) but i wanted fuel injected. So i got the 929 and fell in love. It was 3700 but i got it at a suzuki dealer so they tacked on another 800 in fees lol. But im definintly happy. Thanks for the nice words btw. They really are appreciated. Pics coming. Hey you said you have the Jardine Exhaust on it. Hows it sound? I have a D&D on mine and i wish it was just a lil bit deeper and maybe just a lil bit louder. I had a Jardine on my F4 and it was much deeper and louder then my D&D so i was just wondering what you thought.

 

The Jardine is really nice. Its probably the loudest ive heard so far but its really deep sounding. Ive heard the D&D and it is definitly deeper and louder. And the best thing is its not annoyingly loud. Im actually really happy with it. Im not going to change it at all. I can take a video with my phone if you have a way to get it or if you know where and how i can post it up. Just let me know!
