ahhhh gotcha, turns out someone has wielded inside the head before and its just shot. On the hunt for a new one or used one in good shape

Yea th PO on my 929 ran it to crap an then left it parked for 2 years before I took it off his hands. After a month of restoring it, on th first ride out plug no.4 pops out. Turns out there was not thread left. Had to helicoil it an it was good as new. So suffice to say th PO sucked at owning a bike.

Lol yeah I meant the previous owner. These bikes are so easy to care for I just don't get how people F them up so bad.

its bike abuse to let them go to hell like that. its a good thing it found its way to a loving home! good luck with you project Trider..... dont hesitate to ask me, or anyone else, if you have questions. the 929 is my specialty!

I just picked a 929 (Erion) up myself been working on learning the thing since. Ran out of gas last night (was expecting a light to turn on or flash first). Guess that's something else to look into.

i just switched to a 929 also very fun bike lots of torque hope u get it running good...try to find a 954 motor sounds like a cool idea

Had to put the bike on hold. My Acura warped its head and it became priority #1

damn, too bad, i was looking forward to seeing this build. hopefully some good luck finds it's way to you soon. can't wait to see this take shape
