Default Is my 929 running to hot

Took my bike out for a little ride around the block today since I don't have insurance I didn't wanna risk going out for a ride. But I look it around the block for say 10 min.

She was running around 180 and by the time I was done was sitting at 200.

What do your guys bike usually run at? I do need to change my oil, which would cause me to run a little warm, but I'm just making sure that's all it is

Mine usually sits between 180-185F, but I run the fan whenever the ignition is on. There are a lot of threads about temp and it seems the fans don't come on for people until closer to 216F +/- 5F. 200F is nothing to worry about, especially if you were on side streets going under 30mph most of the time. Even with my fan on I will creep into the 190s in traffic.

mine usually runs at 176 or 180 while riding. I have seen it up as high as 235 on a hot summer day in traffic. I wouldnt worry about it until you hit 240...just dont touch the frame

mine is 220 while stopped in traffic and about 190-210 while ridding. yours is normal and I would not worry about it. It also depends on where you live for example South Carolina, Georgia, Alambama with all the humidity you will be a little higher on the temp.
