Just A quick couple a questions,I just my bought 01 CBR 929,Have always been a Honda Guy but past couple years got stuck ridin sumthin else,So anyway i wanna doa Oil Change and Plugs,Plugs are the ez part just tell the kid what i got he give me the plugs & filter.My question is Oil,what type and how many quarts?????And should i use a synthetic?

Well, if you plan on seeing the red on occassion I would definatly suggest fully synthetic maybe amsoil or mobil,but there is alot of quality oils out there. I just suggest finding one you like and sticking with it

 

I still dunno what weight,10w/40 , 20w/50????? I know i should buy the Damn Book,but My Wife's gettin pissed with my Spendin!!!!! LOL

 

i always use 10w 40 good all around oil for most riding situations. But since you are probably going to have the front in the air often you might want a 20w.

 

i would stick with a 10 -40 synthitic..i use hp in my honda street and dirt bikes...
