Default Kick Stand

Could someone post a picture of their kick stand please? I think mine is shorter than what it should be, or is missing a foot type thing at the bottom. My bike definitely leans more than others I have seen. I can post a picture of mine after I get home from work for comparison. The service manual shows a foot thing at the end of the stand, but I don't know if that is a generic illustration or not. Thanks in advance.

It stands up okay on it, but I figured there was something up with it after looking at every other bike's stand. Can these be purchased new still? I am supposed to take it to the dealer on Thursday, I suppose I can find out then unless someone is parting out a bike with the same stand that I could buy.

I am pretty sure it was cut down since the front of the bike has been lowered. It will stay that way for right now. I wouldn't want to put a new one on if the bike wont be stable on a full length stand.

you might have problems depending on how much it was lowered, i assume thats why it was cut in the first place. i would be careful not to put that on any tar that has been cooking in the sun.

I would go to your local metal place and grap a cheap peice of 1/16" or 1/8" plate. They'll be able to cut you a 1.5x1.5" pad or even a circle, and a muffler shop will weld it on for $5. Paint it and your good to go.

Yep, i would also weld a foot on it at least. But being lowered, a stock sidestand likely won't be any more of a help than the one you have.
