forgive me for being nieve, but what it the actual differences between the fireblade model and the U.S. models. Graphics and paint schemes? Or was there any other mechanical differences. I haven't done any research on the bike(s) as of yet.

I thinks that is exactly the same bike.. the diferents was only:
Japan: Ligths on and off, Kms no milles, and i dont know any more. jeje
