Default I need some help please...

Hy, my name es Gonzo. I am from Argentina. Sorry but my english es very poor.
I need some help. The problem is in my bike cbr 929 2001.
I tried to install an alarm sistem and everything its ok, but when i tried to put the bike on, it doesnt work.
My question is: Are in the bike some code to put it on ? I see that all its ok, the chek ignition is ok too, and it doesnt work.
I dont know what else to do.....
Thanks.

I tried to put it in spanish.

Muchas gracias.

Gonzo.

Did you somehow remove a ground wire or something, possible a blown fuse. Fuses seem to easily blow anytime you do any electrical work on the bike.

The positive i take it to the battery positive directly !!! and we cut the black and white cable from the cdi.....
But now we take off the alarm.... and put the cables in order.

I'm still not sure what it is that you have done. In the first instance the cdi is connected into the alarm, and the main feed is connected to the battery. Now if you turn the alarm on the the cdi is taken out of the loop, ie immobilised, and when you turn the alarm off then the cdi comes back into the loop. I'm not certain but those codes you are getting are showing a memory malfunction and you will need to get it checked out by the makers if poss, if not then install a new one to keep yourself a little bit safer. Let us know how you get on by emailing through the forum. Good luck.

The bike dont have alarm anymore.... we take it out. And the problem persist.

We erased the error codes, and nothing. That problems was old...

Unfortune i think that my probem is in the cdi.... My bike es JAPAN model (CDI + keys + tambor) .... i call to honda Argentina and said me that i have to wait 90 days to take one here in Argentina and the price es very expensive.... 1200 dolar in argentina is like 3.600 dolar for you.

I hope that the problem was other one and not the cdi..... 3 months and a lot of money.

Tomorroe i tell you what is the problem. My bike now is in hand of a speciallist in this bikes. (computers, etc, etc)

Byes and thanks for the answers. and sory for my bad english [&:]

Another thing, the cdi of the california model dont go in my bike..... another one bad

A question... there in USA exist the CDI JAPAN model ? to buy there ? a have a friend in usa but i think that the JAPAN model isnt in usa.
