On a ride this morning the red indicator light came on with a corresponding "Fl" on the display. I understand that if the light blinks so many times it translates to a code that I can look up in the Service Manual. How does that work? How serious is the problem? Can I fix it myself?

Which brings be to my second problem.....anyone have an electronic copy of the 2001 CBR292RR Service Manual they would be willing to pass along so I can give it a shot myself before letting the Honda dealer stick it to me?

You should consider picking up the Haynes Manual too. It is a great compliment to the service manual. I think everybody should have both.

i think that you have to hold both of the buttons down to reset it. it can be a pain in the *** sometimes
