Waist gate? Just as "bad" as a fwhp/rwhp typo.

I feel kinda bad, but if you like a turbo VR6 here is the dyno sheet and video of my 91 GTI (RIP). Links so not to distract the main point of the thread.

I built the car myself, built the ECM (megasquirt), and tuned it. I learned a rediculous amount about airflow and how to make power. I'd really like to crunch numbers in regards to the restriction or addition the vent fans your using could cause. The only theory I have right now is that it offsets pumping losses of the motor. On turbocharged applications the volumetric efficiency of the motor is improved even at idle. I'd also like to see what airspeed the fan creates and where the air enters them on the bike. Definitely don't stop messing around with them. I think it would be interesting to add a more powerful fan to the top of each velocity stack.

I like the idea, i did something similar to a snowmobile and a jet ski of mine..... and you are right about needing a proper fuel map to get the full benefit from this mod. it will also cool the intake and top slightly too....

I think i will do something like this to mine when i get it out of the shop......
