Headlights and Blinkers dont work
I started up my bike the other day to go for a ride and noticed upon start up that the headlights were not working, low or high beam. I also found out that the blinkers are not working either. The running lights and brake lights work as well as the gauges. Everything but the headlights and blinkers works perfectly, I have checked all the fuses and also tried swapping out the headlight relay that is behind the guage pod. I will be taking off the body panels to start checking wiring and connectors for any problems this weekend. I have searched and found either headlight issues or blinker issues but not both so I figured it would not hurt to post up about it and see if anyone had any information to share on it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

RE: Headlights and Blinkers dont work
Hi, I'm not sure if you have the same problem as I ran into, but here goes. After also replacing the relay behind the instrument cluster... I unscrewed the 2 screws on the throttle / starter assembly.
Here's what happens there: When you click on the starter switch, there's a switch that bypasses the headlight in order to give all available power from the battery to your starter. The soldering joint on mine had broken free, therefor givin me an open circuit, and no headlights.
Mine didn't involve my turn signals tho, so not sure if checking there will fix your problem.
So again, unscrew the starter switch casing on the right handlebar. check the wire (of 4) on the bottom right hand side of the starter switch, and make sure the soldering joints there are solid.
