Anyone know where to get the retaining wire to hold the headlight bulb in place. I've been able to find the rubber boot and socket through the dealer but can't seem to find this part. If anyone has a used one laying around they don't need let me know too. Someone removed this previously and I can't findit on the aftermarket.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding but I am not aware of any wire other than electrical in teh front of the 929's, muchless one used for any mounting.
Are you sure you have all the tabs in place? There should be the collar flange/grommet, bolt/nut,fairing tab, headlight tab and the fairing stay mount.
Slide the bolt through the bottom of the flange bolt/grommet, slide the grommet into the headlight, slide headlight into the upper fairing stay mount and install nut.
I would actually call that more of a stabilizer than a mount. The headlight itself mounts to the upper fairing. Okay, maybe it's a mount/stabilizer...![Big Grin](https://cbrforum.com/forum/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I still know nothing of any wire.

Jesus crimeny...
Dude as soon as I reopened this thread I saw that I completely misread and it's clear as day in your first sentence, lol. Sorry buddy.
Umm, I'm thinking they may be just the same as every other H7 clip. Can't say for certain but you might try the, "Parts For Sale" section here. Probably just gonna have to find a junk headlight or something... any of them will work, I believe.
