this is definitely a blast from the past, but I also wanted to find out where to get a replacement headlight bulb retainer for my F3 headlight. if honda doesn't sell it separately, does anybody know a way to fabricate one? any help is appreciated.

Are you talking about the little weird shape metal clip that goes behind both screws? Im pretty sure any H4 bulb (even in cars) uses the same clip.

I had a hell of a time changing my bulb yesterday .

Mine was missing when I got my F3, find a junkyard that has snowmobiles or other motorcycles outback and snag one from one of them. I didn't even get charged because it was such a tiny piece!

yeah, wreckers or fab are your only choice. OEM is only the entire housing for 2 pints of blood and a child (not required it be your first, though)

yeah, that little piece that holds the light bulb in place. i've been hearing that people used the car clip and installing it in the housing. are most car clips made the same way or are there particular ones that would work better in the housing than others?

I've actually looked out of curiosity and could really only find them at junkyards. Any car with an H4 headlight should have it.
