I have a question about the GP shifting mod for those of you that have done it, is it possible to flip the linkage around like on some other bike or are the vfr and 1100xx levers the only way to getur done without buying reverse rearsets?

thanks for the info but I already read that, that's how I knew what shifters I needed. I was just curious if those where my only options?

 

sorry man you can just flip it like on f2-f3s. thesprocket cover is in the way..

 

I take it you mean I can't flip it? could I flip it if I removed the sprocket cover? either way I already ordered a shifter lever for an 1100xx.

 

got the shift lever did the conversion, simple even for me and now I'm messing up my shift like crazy! but I love the shifting, its just going to take some getting use to.

 

i use gp shifting for stunting,makes it easier to change gears during wheelies
