front mudguard removal

Default front mudguard removal

Hi quick question ,do i need to remove the front wheel ,to take the front mudguard off,thanks in advance for any help.

front mudgaurd? the front fender maybe... not sure what part your specifiing. but to get the fender off its advised to loosen the axle bolts and slightly spread the forks so the paint dont get scratched. hope it helps...

I just took off my front fender last week for paint and it slid right out from inbetween the forks. if you're worried about the paint just put some masking tape over it and pull through

how come it never scratchs taking it off if you have to paint it anyway but after its shiny and new it scratches all teh way to the plastic? thats enough to **** any one off...

Thanks for the replys ,i should have said front fender,we call them mudguards over here in the uk ,dont know why we dont see a great deal of mud on our roads.
