These guys seem to build high quality sliders. Best not to go super cheap on something that could potentially snap off in a fall.

 

That's for sure. A buddy dropped his beautiful 600 the other day, and the slider did just that - snapped off.

At first I thought it was ground off ( although I couldn't believe the bike slid that far ) then I examined it closer and saw that it had snapped off leaving a jagged stub and a completely humped fairing.

Gotta get the good ones.
