Hi, again.

I am going to get my forks overhauled. I think that I have a gummed up valve somewhere in
the system.

Has anyone put in after-market valve kits into these puppies? Are they worth the bucks?
Any recommendations?

 

I don't know about the aftermarket valve kits, but I changed the fluid in mine and it made a nice big difference in the action. I could definately tell an improvement. So maybe try that route first and if you like what you feel then take the money you would have spent and treat yourself to some new sticky tires, because you can always tell a difference with new rubber.
