i just bought a set of 929 forks and when i try to compress them (pushing them down)only one would compress and the other one hardly moves. i was going to change the fork seals and oil to see if that helps. What do you all think it might be.

 

unscrew the fork cap on top of your fork and then slide the outer tubes up and down to check if it slides correctly. it has to slide pretty free, if not (on the side you re thinking it s wrong) the bushings are probably damaged. if it slides correctly on both sides then you ll have to take everything apart to check it out... let me know what s going on with that.
