i hooked up my powercommanderIIIr and now my Fi light came on. any suggestions?

 

Make sure the connections are in the right place and that you didn't pull a wire or plug by accident when you installed it. Also check if you have the right MAP file loaded.

 

right now the bike is all stock i dont have any map on it, my air filter is in today. is it bad if that lights on and i ride it

 

even if the bike is stock you still need to down load map 0001 that the map for a stock 929rr. that should stop the fi light from coming on if you did connect the plugs correctly.
the plug will be on the right side right under the gas tank.

 

the kid that hooked it up forgot to plug a main wire back in, he accidently unplugged it.. is there anymaps for stock pipe plus k&n filter

 

go to powercommander.com and look. they have a lot of maps to choose from

 

everymap that was on that site came on my disk i didnt see it on there :/

 

i hooked my power commander 3 up on a 2001 929 and every once and a while the FI malfunction light will come on is there something i should look into or just take it 2 the shop and have them fix it?

 

figure out what the "code" is on the blinking red light in your gauge cluster then check the manual. I'd definitely look into it. I had the idiot light on when I plugged in my pcIII and it was just a bad connection with one of my 3000 sensors.

 

make sure everything is plugged in
