Fairings
Hey guy's i have a little cash to throw out so i thought i would replace the fairing.. Not sure exactly what the specific name is-It's the base fairing on the right side i should say the piece that has "honda" plastered on the side of it
.. Anyways wasn't sure if you guys knew of any good places to possibly buy a new one.. aside from ebay for obvious reasons.. anyways lemme know..

i bought a fairing from ebay. cost me 30$ and it was in decent shape.. it had a couple scuffs but it was still 100% better then the one i had. now i need to stop being so lazy and buy some touch up paint and fix it..
You probably already know this, but Honda dealers I've spoken to recommend www.colorrite.com/ for paint.
I was surprized at how complex the process is. Our bikes were given a couple of base color coats and then shot with several pearlized clear coats. I guess what I'm saying is, when I decided to customize my finish, I didn't realize how complicated it is. But I got my paint from Color Rite, and it was a perfect match. My plan is to go over the yellow with tribal wings from All Out Graphics.

AAAAhhhhh! $$$!
Might I suggest, if it is cracked anywhere, get it plastic welded, or use PLASTEX (run a search
, good stuff) and fix it yourself. A flexible body filler is good too. Then just take it to a body shop and get it sprayed black. Go to www.alloutgraphics.com (cheaper than freakin tapeworks) and get the HONDA side decals & call it a day. Too damned expensive buying new fairings when your current ones just need a little bodywork. Some of my plastics looked rough. Lowside from the previous owner (frame sliders are GOOD!) Fiberglass screening and flexible filler, then paintshop is the way to go. Much cheaper too
Oh yeah, and my left lower was done with spraycan gloss black and clearcoat, by me... not the paintshop[8D] (lowers take a beating anyways... rocks and such.)
