Default Exhaust questions

Hey guys I’m looking for exhaust systems for my 929. I’m not sure what I want to get weather it be bolt on, slip on, ¾ or full system. I have herd that with a full system I will need a power commander to take care of the HTEV is that true? What systems are you all running and are you happy with them. I want to gain some power and a better sound but don’t want it so loud I can’t hear the cars around me
I like these tell me what you think

i would go with a slip on or full system. dont really like the bolt-ons. the only thing a power comander does is smoth out the power curve. i know lots of people who have a full system and dont use a power comander. i have a full yosimura trs exhaust system and love it. i bought it for $480 like new. if you want the best i would go arata or akrapovic. if you want good i would say yoshi, hindle, m4, micron. i'd stay away from D&D (no offense to anyone with D&D).

I'm running the full erion pipe on this bike, my 1st 929 just had the erion slipon, sold the bike to my cousin, he had a friend who gave him a jardine pipe, ran that for a month said he thought the erion slipon was better than the full jardine so he switched it back.

i would recommend against the full system. the full system will generate a higher peak horsepower but removing the HTEV will decrease your low end power. as for the twobros, i love it. i bought the carbon c4 (round) bolt on. the sound is loud, but a good loud. i see that you are looking at products from indysuperbikes. they are great but the twobros exhaust are cheaper on pipecity.com.

by the way, the address above is for an exhaust comparison test done by sportrider magazine. the test bike is a r6, but it will give you an idea of what alot of different pipes sound like. crank up the volume, lots of fun!
