yes i have the braging rights i went over to erion racing today and met the owner who started erion and had a 0 mile brand new # 1 issue cbr 929rr erion and he had a really rare cbr 900 erion edition #1 . also a 954 ama pro erion bike . and nickey haden pro 600 bike he raced demon has pics maybe he will post them . it was really awesome made my day ! iv never seen a brand new erion 929rr before . the question well what was don't to erion that made it so special well . graphics black frame wheels exhaust . no cams or any engine work ect..

Yea conrice it was a shop totally hidden hard to find . Roger and nickey haden raced for him ama pro days . Had trophies pics the 600 nickey raced ect.. hes waiting for honda he said there might be a new erion coming out at some point. Hes puting erion kits on huskavarnas super moto bikes and hes building a zx10 for bonnivill flats . He said between thd kawi zx10 and bmw well both 190ish hp bikes before mods

 

They got 198 rwhp out of one of their "954s" they had in FX (the main bike, the secondary bikes didn't have as much done to them). Granted, it wasn't exactly stock (zero loss motor, stroked, insane cam, etc). They've done some serious work on bikes over the years. Did they still have that on display? They used to have it sitting along side a wall next to a table.

Their 929/954's had an external oil cooler that sat behind the radiator that I've been trying to replicate on my bike...

Its a beautiful machine.

I asked the owner about nicky and roger said they were really cool . he has some really bad *** pics of them ect.. man id love to get my rc signed and pic of nickey next to it .

 

No I haven't been there before - I'm on the wrong coast!


But I did have a pretty good convo with one of their mechanics. He happened to have an extra set of CP custom pistons left over from Zemke's 954 FX bike that I bought off of him.

I ended up not using them as I went with a big bore on my bike instead (they were 75mm pistons).


But yeah - that "98" bike is it.



I'd love to meet Nicky too. Or Tommy or Roger. I've never heard anyone say anything bad about that whole family. And having a real Nicky signature on your RC would be really cool.

always loved the Erion RR's.
remember a magazine article about a customer ordered bike they did up as the ultimate street 900RR. first time (I think) I had seen the exhaust routed up thru the tail section.


wonder if I still have that mag. need to go look now.
