hi i have a 2001 cbr 929 i took out the baffle and screen after the o2 sensor and i have a bolt on yana shiki slincer . im going to cut and shorten the yana shiki. would it make the bike run that much leaner? or does it have adeptive stratiges in fuel injection system ? im not going to shorten it that much as in hack it up . bike has 16k on it

I would say no, but it doesnt hurt to get one even on a completely stock bike.

always a good idea if your doing any mods, keeps the fuelling right, and as sj66 says, you will need dyno time to get it set up.
