Get one and a good dyno tuner. If he's any good he'll sort it out. Speak to the guy who's going to tune it first. As for ur mate, Im not surprised. Its a crappisaki. lol sorry could'nt resist. All the best mate

trust me there are more places around than you think, we had one in town that I didn't know about and he turned out to be an awesome mechanic.

as for "mapping it you self" those downloaded maps are not really that good, they give you a general map that will work, but you need to tune for you bike specifically. You need someone with a dyno and experience to do it right.

your friend probably just used one of those maps that came with it, and is an example of why you need it done right. they are better then stock for aftermarket pipes, but not that much better.

also keep in mind, a pcIII and a slip-on is not going to turn you bike into some race tuned monster, they come factory with most of the power they are ever going to have, mods will just squeeze a few more(3?) horse power out. If you still find your self wanting more get up and go gear it down a bit, i put a -1 front sprocket on, and its cheap, like 30 bucks.

It already is a get up and go race bike. the engine runs healthy stock. These bikes only run like crap if ur commuting in traffic every day. Thrash the crap out of it and notice how much better it runs. What does every one else reckon???? Its all how ya ride it. Dont be shy!!!
