I was in first gear and hit the gas after stopping at a stop sign, took the left turn and almost right away I heard a click sound and the rpm went up instead of me moving forward. : ( Then i thought..ok maybe 1st went out, so i put in 2nd and still rpm's went up ...no forward movement. : ( just random clicking (not very often) when in gear. So I figured my clutch went out and I started pushing my bike home almost a mile away, thank god it wasnt further away than 1 mile from my house : ).

So did my clutch go out?
If so..what clutch should i get?

ps. i ride on the street and i never race really. but i do ride hard and love turns.
clutch brand and type, ideas if this is the problem would be appreciated.

Something broke in there. As long as you front sprocket didn't shear the splines, you will need to get the clutch cover off and inspect

 

I am hoping to look at it tomorrow. I will update as soon as i do.
Anyone else have a hunch of what the problem could be?
