i'm a big fan of signal mirrors, so i like the concept. the style doesn't look quite right tho -- they look 'droopy'; like the stalks are tilted out at too far an angle.

dude i wish i was pissed, the studs are just a little to far apart...

so i just went to farm and fleet and got soe bolts that were the same size but long... drilled the top hole where the mirror would normally mount just once size bigger than the bolt...

and drilled the bottom bolt hole probably about twice as big into the stay... but just until i penetrated the top layer of the fairings stay since its tubular...

then i took the smaller bit i used on the top hole and drilled the rest of the way through the stay with this...

so with all that done i just put lined the mirror up and put the bolts from the bottom up and screwed the into the mirors...

btw i decided to dremel off the old mounts im in the process of fabbing up some aluminum ones now that prop the mirrors up more. The look didnt bother me but them hitting my hands did haha

btw to anyone what wants to do this in the future... it would be easier to just make some sort of adapting plate rather than all new bases but i just decided to make new bases all together
