Default Cutting baffel for aftermarket bolt on?

I bought a two brothers bolt on exhaust pipe off of ebay and the seller said it was specifically for a CBR 929rr. It wouldnt bolt on directly and the seller said something about having to cut off the old baffle. Is this true? Does he mean the cone thing coming off the mid pipe? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, u have to cut off that cone with holes in it with a hacksaw, then the pipe should fit. For exact directions, you can visit the two brothers website.

Ok so is there a trick to getting the bolts to fit right? It appears that the bolt pattern on the two bro's pipe I just got is 1/4 inch smaller than the bolt pattern on my cbr. Does anybody know the bolt pattern measurement on center for cbr 929's?

It sounds like you have a pipe for a different year.
