Crank no start please help!!!!!
So I put in a brand new full exhaust on my cbr 929, and figured I’d check valve clearance while I was at it. All intake were in spec but exhaust was out, not by much but it was .so I changed my shims and got them in spec. Then I went to find tdc because the crank turned a little bit as I was removing the camshafts, so this being my first time I followed the manual but was confused because on a lot of videos I see people saying it has to be at compression stroke, which I thought I was just looking to get cylender 1 to the top. I did that by using a screwdriver. I watched as it went to the top and started to go down and I backed up a bit til it was at the top. Then I line up the cam shafts with the ex and the in flush to cylender head. I put the cover back on and plug everything back in. I can’t get it to start. I pull the plugs out and lay them on the block and I get no spark. (Also , I removed the servo motor and put in a servo buddy, and removed the pair valve and put block off plates. ) I have a powercommander 3 that I took out and put a new map on and plugged back in. Everything seems to work but I’m getting no spark . I tried without the powercommander also. Please help
What does this mean "Then I line up the cam shafts with the ex and the in flush to cylender head"
Did you change the relationship of the position of the cams and crank?
Shimming your valves won't kill your spark so you must have done something else. I would backtrack your steps and work out what you've done, and hope it wasn't frying your ECU.
You checked all the fuses of course?
